One in 5 Trillion: UK Couple Win The Euromillions TWICE!

We’ve seen some amazing things in the history of the lottery but this story really tops it. Only two years after their first £1m lottery win, David and Kathleen Long won another £1m Euromillions jackpot. Now that’s what we call luck!

“Times Had Been Tough”
Mr Long, a former lorry driver, admitted that before winning the first time, he was struggling both financially and physically. Illness had made it difficult to work and he took early retirement only three days after landing the initial jackpot. The Longs, from Scunthorpe UK, used some of the money to get married, after 12 years of being engaged. They said it had been a “fantastic” life-changing experience.

“Extraordinary Situation”
Winning the lottery once is rare enough, but twice is almost a miracle: the odds are estimated at around 1 in 5 trillion! Camelot, the organisers of the lottery in the UK, said it was “an extraordinary situation” when the couple won the 27 March Euromillions draw. Mr Long claims that he always knew he would win, even second time round. They haven’t said what they’ll spend the money on but we’re sur it’ll be something worthwhile.
