Apple's iOS 9 will make older iPhones faster

A report from 9to5Mac suggests that Apple will be rolling out a dedicated version of iOS 9 that will be compatible with the older hardware. With each passing generation of the operating system there are a few phones that are compatible with the update but do not provide optimum performance.
This time Apple is taking a different approach in order to extend the lives of their older products. Apple's iOS 9 will be launching this year. The toned down version for older devices like iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 might roll out a couple of weeks later. The company will skip a few of the features to make the operating system lighter for dated hardware. Most of the changes introduced in the next iteration will focus on smoother experience rather than just adding features. According to the report, iOS 9 will be a hard nut to crack for jail-breakers and it will enhance the security to curb malware and spam on the operating system.

The update is expected to launch in the WWDC15 that is scheduled to happen early next month which means we won't have to wait for too long to get our hands on the core features of the new iteration.
