Samsung is reportedly wrapping up the works of the premium handset Galaxy A8 to show off in the coming days. According to the latest leaks, the tech giant from South Korea has sent the Galaxy A8 device for test and research purpose.
The so-called Galaxy A8 has been spotted by the import listing on India site Zauba. According to the listing, Galaxy A8 will sport 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Further, the device is expected to come with Snapdragon 615 SoC along with 2GB RAM and 16GB native storage. The purported handset will pack a 16MP primary sensor, a 5MP front-facing shooter and a finger print sensor on home button. The Galaxy A8 will run Android 5.0 Lollipop with Samsung's TouchWiz software overlay.
Moreover, on the connectivity Galaxy A8 will come with 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS/ GLONASS. And the whole hardware might be powered with a huge 3050mAh battery.
While being shipped, this 4G capable smartphone will probably run on Android 5.1 Lollipop update. The Samsung Galaxy A8 comes in Black, White and Gold variants and will go on sale in China on July 17.
