According to a report from Mashable, Google will now let you archive your own search history. The features is expected to be of great help while shifting from one system to another and to track your activity on the internet. To download your search history, go to google.com/history, where you will either have to log-in with your
Google account or it will do it automatically if you were logged in previously. The resulting page will exhibit search patterns through bar graphs according to various parameters like Hourly search activity and Daily search activity. You can get a more detailed information by using the 'Show more trends' button where you'll find information like Top clicks, Top queries and Top sites. To know more about the functionality of the new feature, one can visit Google's support document.
To download a zip file containing your search patterns, go to the settings button on the right corner of the screen and select download from the drop down options. The file will automatically save in the drive and from there you can save it on your system.
The new feature is like Google's Analytics tool, the only difference being that this tool will track an individual's movement in the Google ecosystem.
